In 1999, once again, Esquire Shipping Pvt. Ltd. foreseeing the need of the country for Infrastructure Development and Power, promoted a new Company ‘Indo Energy International Limited’.

The directors of the company started on war footing to search for a place to set up a new port and provide services in the field of Power.

Indo Energy International Limited found the site perfect for building a 200 meters jetty - 3 Barge points - having an available depth of 2.0 meters above C.D facilitating the barges to arrive alongside and depart at any time of the day or night. Although the tidal range in the region varies between 3-4 meters, the maximum depth alongside is about 5-6 meters at High tide.

In April 2009, the company completed the 200 meters Multipurpose Terminal, Notified under the Indian Customs Act 1962, to handle all Import / Export and coastal cargoes, at the rate of 12000 -20000 m.t./day throughout the year Fair weather period.

The Multipurpose terminal has as capacity of handling, storing and dispatching minimum 5.0 million tonnes of Bulk cargo annually. The Terminal has Open storage space of 60000 sq.meters away from all civilization avoiding pollution issues.

The Multipurpose terminal is very conveniently located at a distance of about 100 KM from New Bombay, about 10 KM from the Roha railway Siding and about 12 KM from the nearest National Highway.

The Multipurpose terminal has all the advantages to make it highly viable location for the various Industries located in Entire State of Maharashtra & Karnataka to move their raw materials and thus reducing their production costs and cheaper product to the end user.
